Simply photographs

Want to make use of the photographs on this site? Have a read of the terms and conditions ..

Visitors to the site may copy the small photographs (110 pixels wide) and make use of them at no charge

All other photographs can only be used upon prior payment - please get in touch using the contact page and just explain what you want, and at what size. I will respond with an indication of whether I can help, at what cost and give a timescale. Some images can be printed very large.

Payment entitles use of an image on a single instance, e.g. display of a print in a room, display of an image on a web-site

Users who wish to publish photographs in a printed format may do so after payment and agreement by John Thomson to charges for publication

Copyright in all photographs remains with John Thomson, or his heirs, in accordance with legislation - purchasers acquire a right to use, nothing more

All transactions are in pounds sterling

Prices quoted include the cost of delivery within the U.K., where applicable and all taxes

Delivery is by e-mail (for images in an electronic format) and by post (for prints)

Customers have a right to cancel an order at any time before despatch and in the event John Thomson is unable to supply the goods ordered a refund will be made - no substitute goods will be supplied

Customers also have a right to cancel during the seven days following receipt of the goods

All cancellations must be in writing and where customers have received goods they will be responsible for paying for the cost of return of those goods to John Thomson

All transactions are subject to English law

All photographs supplied are "as is" and purchasers should satisfy themselves before purchase that they will meet the proposed purpose

Anything supplied electronically by John Thomson is believed free of viruses, worms, trojans and other malicious entities, but purchasers should satisfy themselves on this issue before use by scanning with an up-to-date anti-virus program

John Thomson will not be held responsible for any loss or damage beyond the payment made

Any purchase made of photographs on this site assumes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
